Hayley Harding
Hayley is a solicitor and the parent to two boys. Her eldest son was diagnosed with autism in 2018. In 2019 she started the Sutton EHCP Crisis group following her fight to get her son an education. The group provides information and emotional support to parents and carers in Sutton Local Authority that are having to appeal decisions to reject their children for additional support at school.
Deanne Shaw
Deanne mum to Amber who is 17 and has a micro chromosomal disorder. Deanne has been involved in numerous campaigns around special educational needs and disabilities since Amber was born, including ‘Aiming High for Disabled Children’. She recently has been working within Greater Manchester to ensure the needs and views of disabled children and young people were represented within the devolution agenda.
